MAHO BEACH, ST MARTIN
Maho Beach is a beach on the Dutch side of the Caribbean island of St. Martin, that has pristine waters and white sand where the flights land above you. Although Hurrincane Irma has impacted the look of Maho Beach of late, it’s still a unique spot.
PINK SAND BEACH, BAHAMAS
Pink Sand Beach is considered one of the very best beaches in The Bahamas. Its pale pink sand stretches for some three plus miles and is 50 to 100 feet wide. The pink color of the sand comes from microscopic coral insects, known as Foraminifera. Snorkeling and swimming are made safe and easy by outlying reefs, which provide large areas of relatively calm and shallow waters.
PFEIFFER PURPLE SAND BEACH, CALIFORNIA
This beach is away from the crowds and has an element of adventure as it is not the easiest to find and is very secluded. The beautiful purple sand makes it all worth it once you get there.
