Cheap Caribbean Vacations!

When it comes to island destinations, the Caribbean and its islands are one of the most popular vacation spots in the world. Here you can have the best of everything from gorgeous beaches, wonderful surf, sailing, scuba diving and snorkeling, to great food, shopping and a wide range of nature-related activities.  You can get a whole range of affordable accommodations from basic to the most luxurious all inclusive-resorts and rental villas, but here are a few cheap Caribbean travel accommodations to consider.

BARBADOS

A place that epitomizes Barbadian hospitality, the Dover Beach Hotel offers cheap Caribbean travel accommodations tucked away on a secluded white sand beach where island warmth, peace and tranquility are in abundance.

Located a mere 15-minute drive from both Bridgetown and the airport, the Dover Beach Hotel is also right within walking distance of the St. Lawrence Gap, which is known for its lively nightlife, duty-free shopping and many bars and restaurants as well as other activities.

All accommodations are either seafront or garden views with air-conditioned bedrooms, kitchenette, telephone and private patio or terrace. There are weekly cocktail parties and nightly events that would surely make your stay here reasonable and enjoyable.

JAMAICA

Montego Bay in Jamaica is one of the few reasonably priced spots to stay during high season, from about mid-January through early April. Accommodations can be as low, under $100 a night, and there are even a number of high-quality all-inclusive options that offer a very good value, like the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach. This all-you-can-drink mega-resort crushes its competition and is known for its outstanding cuisine, liquor, service and activities.

GRENADA

Grenada is often overlooked, which makes it not only a bargain for those who do visit, but a destination where you’ll be unlikely to have to deal with the crowds. St. George’s harbor is one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean, and its myriad of colors are gorgeously reflected in the clear, turquoise waters. The Siesta Hotel is not glitzy but it is more intimate and affordable.
